Life is not a plateau. There are inclines and declines, sometimes constant enough to make it a roller coaster ride. If things don’t work out as planned then you have to get over the unfortunate event and move on. Time is everything. To excel sometimes it becomes essential to hit rock bottom first. If you cannot find your own faults and are not the best critique of your own self then you will never inspire or ever take the initiative to learn and improve.

Don’t be in denial. You may call it your pride or it may be your ego. You may fear failure or rejection. Whatever the case is, the consequences are similar. You may like challenges and you may not be scared of the hard work or what the outcome maybe or how things may unfold. All you have to do is get out of your comfort zone and get the ball rolling and make things happen. Just get over the unfortunate event.

Things that identify certain times as ‘unfortunate’

It is not just you. Rest assured that it has happened to the best of us. In order to get over things we must learn from our past in order to actually earn from our past. We need to keep our eyes on the future that we envision and then create it step by step using all the learning that we have gathered. Those who kept staring at closed doors never knew of those that had been opened.

Craving Career Development

At times we are making decent money, but then we realize that money is really not it. There may now be a craving to learn more and experience some actual or substantial growth and development in our professional career. Our pay check may offer a comfortable life but the uniformity involved and lack of growth kills motivation and eventually burns us out. This may now be the right time to start our own business but then we don’t know much about starting or running a business.

Now we have two choices. Either we keep feeling bad about our self or we get over our fear of the unknown and accept this professional life changing challenge. We decide to not just learn but master what at once we hardly knew anything about. Initially it will not be easy or we may even fail. But that failure will not be half as disastrous as losing our life’s time on something that we hated. But this is not the end of life. Get over the unfortunate event.

Growth of career:

Dry Connections

Life is defined by moments not time. Things may change with the one we thought was the love of our life. We may have known each other for some time now but the engagement now has died down. We may now meet less than we used to as we may have now lost our direction.  It is always better to get out and get over a half hearted relationship with a person who is just not right. Instead of blaming our self or thinking that they are the best we could have.

Feeling Out of Shape

You really want to appear good and it has been a while since you left exercising. You are not young anymore and you can’t call yourself naturally fit. It is time to either accept your fate or just get over the the laziness and prove that you can do it. The initiative has to be there to learn the basics of physical fitness with the will to use that knowledge and create that level of fitness that we have always desired.

When you know it is THAT ‘unfortunate’ time

I know very well what ‘unfortunate’ time tastes like. I have had my share of unfortunate moments. Always liked keeping to myself as a kid and as I grew up I realized the importance of good communications and people’s skill. Starting from scratch and passing through failures I have come a long way and there is surely more to go. But now I have a lot of friends and they are my strength and each one of them a true asset.

I am very new to writing blogs though I have a work experience of almost 20 years. I believe that I can reach my audience to generate the traffic that I need. Just had to give it a try to just let it all out once and then see how the flow goes. The regret of not doing a certain thing is far bigger that actually doing it.

We all want to excel at whatever we choose to do in our lives. We all want to keep moving forward in term of progress no matter if it is slow, but in some cases it is much wiser to step back from certain things that are not worth your while even if you are really good at them or you may thing that you have them in your grip. Just get over the unfortunate event.

How to get over the unfortunate event

This is what I would do to get out of the dark phase and step into the light with my head held high.

Accept, Accept & Accept

Know your faults better than your foes. Know the things that you detest and would like to change in yourself. Sit back, relax and visualize where you are coming from to know and adjust your direction to where you now want to head. And Stick To It! Simply, get over the unfortunate event.

Accept your grief

There is no point trying to escape from it, as there is no escape. Things don’t go according to plan and there is a lot of mishap that is not in our control. Get it out of your system. It is perfectly fine if there is no one to listen to you as you can always write. Just write it and get it all out and it won’t be long before you feel connected and at peace with yourself all over again.

Begin from Scratch

Swallow your pride and do it To Make it Happen. Start from the bottom leaving that toxic job if you have too. Sacrifice your salary but eventually make sure you Make it HAPPEN!

Look for the Light

There is always light at the end of the tunnel. You just have to keep moving towards it. Involve yourself with people and activities that make you feel good about yourself. Leave the stress and negativity. You need all the positivity that you can get your hands on, to counter all the stress that all those ‘unfortunate’ moments have brought to your life. You Can & You Will

Let bygones be bygones!

Time to try your luck at other doors and ignore those that are locked or just not worth entering. Your destiny awaits you. You will get what you want eventually but it may not be the way you want it. Don’t waste time as you will only regret not doing it earlier. Initially it may seem tough but you will know that you are tougher once you do it! Get over the unfortunate event. It is not that unfortunate after all.
